British comedy icon Stewart Lee has become the first name on the line-up for next year's Machynlleth Comedy Festival.
The cult comic, who regularly performs sell-out tours in large venues across the UK, will perform three dates at the influential annual festival in Powys.
His new show, Stewart Lee vs The Man Wulf, will be performed on Friday, May 2 and 6.30pm, Saturday, May 3 at 1.30pm, and Sunday, May 4 at 1.30pm.
Tickets for all three performance will cost £28 and are already on sale at the festival's ticket site.
In a tweet announcing the first name on the line-up, the festival posted: "the first show to land of Mach 2025 is... STEWART LEE: STEWART LEE VS THE MAN-WULF.
"In this brand new show, Lee shares his stage with a tough-talking werewolf comedian from the dark forests of the subconscious who hates humanity."
Lee rose to fame as one half of Lee and Herring in the 1990s, before establishing himself as one of the most influential figures in British stand-up since the turn of the century.
