Tradespeople from further afield could be approached to help fix a youth club building in Llanidloes.

Town mayor Cllr Jamie Jones described the situation as "hairpulling time" as the town council looks to submit an application for funding to redevelop the building.
"I was hoping it would start in July," he said. " We'll get there. It's getting funding and a quote. I can't believe how long it's taken".
Councillor Trudy Davies asked: "Given that we've given local traders a chance, can we look further afield, Newtown or Rhayader perhaps?

"I know we encourage to use local businesses but if they're not prepared to take it on, maybe we should give someone else a chance?"
Town council clerk David Powell told councillors that he is hopeful that by the next full council meeting there will have been progress. "We are gently moving along," he added.
The Town Council agreed in March that the clerk could approach three builders in the area for quotes.
