IF you’re feeling a bit ‘Bah, humbug!’ about the fast-approaching festive season, never fear – the Llanymynech Amateur Dramatic Society (LADS) are here to bring back the true spirit of Christmas.
‘A Christmas Carol’, Charles Dickens’ iconic tale of an ice-cold heart softened into warmth and generosity, is coming to Oswestry and Llanymynech this winter.
Adapted for the stage by Alison Utting, this is a production that stays close to the heart of Dickens’ original ‘ghost story of Christmas’, relishing the descriptive text and iconic characters.
The LADS production promises to be full of contrasts: dark and light, cold and warmth, bitterness and hope.
With live music and colourful costumes the classic tale will be brought to life for a whole new audience. Come in out of the cold and enjoy one of the most loved stories of Christmas.
