A busy road is to be closed in Newtown for urgent works to investigate and regulate a sink hole.
A section of Park Street will be closed on Friday (November 8).
Powys County Council had previously issued a notice stating that the closure would be in place from 10am to 2pm on Monday (November 11).
The road will be shut between the library and Ysgol Calon y Dderwen entrance on Park Street.
