An emergency meeting was held in Bishop’s Castle to “find a way forward” following a kerosene oil leak with left a strong smell lingering in the town.
Mayor Cllr Josh Dickin hosted the meeting at the Town Hall on Tuesday, November 5, for affected residents and businesses.
People reported a “strong” and “pretty bad” smell of kerosene following the leak which was first reported on Friday, November 1.
Firefighters and a utility company were called to a property in Bull Street at 3.55pm which Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the leak had been isolated.
