A woman is to appear in court accused of causing serious injury to another motorist.
Victoria Beaumont, 33, is charged with causing serious injury to Paul Richard Mountain by careless driving on August 7, 2022, in Powys.
The incident, allegedly involving a Nissan Qashqai being driven by Beaumont, occurred on the A470 near Rhayader.
Beaumont, of Glamis Drive, Hornchurch, London, had been due to appear at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 5, but her case was put off in order to take a plea.
Beaumont is next due to appear on November 26, when it is expected a plea will be taken, with the case likely to be sent eventually to the crown court.
