The Montgomeryshire Agricultural Association held an awards evening to celebrate farming excellence across 25 different categories.
The Annual Presentation Dinner took place at Llanfair Caereinion Leisure Centre on October 25, with 175 attendees.
The evening was marked by recognition of exceptional contributions to agriculture, with the association expressing gratitude to the Wynnstay Group for its sponsorship and support of the competitions.
The association also thanked the NFU and FUW for their respective sponsorships of the New Entrant Into Farming Competition and the Presentation Evening.
Gwyneth Owen, chairperson of the Association, extended her appreciation to all who played a role in the event’s success.
The Montgomeryshire Agricultural Association continues to build connections with the YFC movement and Coleg Powys Newtown.
Cara Smith, from Llanfair Caereinion YFC, was sponsored to attend the British Cattle Breeders Conference in Telford after winning the Senior Stock Judging Competition.
Ioan Phillips, an agricultural student at Coleg Powys, Newtown, received a £75 cheque for being the Best Agricultural Student.
The full list of winners spans various categories including arable, beef, sheep, dairy, and best managed farms, showcasing the breadth of talent and hard work in the region's agricultural sector.
