A Powys garden centre has released its first-ever Christmas children's book.
The Old Railway Line Garden Centre has announced the launch of 'The Magic of a Christmas Gift', written by its own team member, Matt Lewis.
The book, which features illustrations by Amy Willis, celebrates themes of kindness, friendship, and the joy of giving.
The story is inspired by some of the youngest members of the Old Railway Line family.
All profits from sales of the book will be donated to two charities.
The first is Be More Frank, a fund of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, which supports families affected by childhood cancer in Herefordshire, Powys, and surrounding areas.
The fund is named in honour of Frank, a young boy who died after battling a rare bone cancer at the age of 13.
The second charity is the Ewing’s Sarcoma Research Trust, which is dedicated to Eif’s Ewing Sarcoma Research Fund.
The fund is in memory of Eif and works with the Bone Cancer Research Trust to support research, information, awareness, and affected families.
- Police force apologises to family of man who died in Powys train crash
- New £49m Powys 'super-school' given go-ahead by council
- Police name two men who died in motorcycle crash on A40 near Powys
Mr Lewis, the author of the book said: "We hope this story adds a touch of magic to everyone who reads it.
"With every purchase, readers will help us make a difference by supporting the essential work of Be More Frank and the Ewing’s Sarcoma Research Trust.
"The book’s story has also inspired our Christmas video this year, which will be released on Thursday, November 7.
"There is always lots of excitement around our Christmas video, so we are hoping the book will go down well too."
The book is currently available for purchase at the Old Railway Line Garden Centre and online through their website.
The garden centre hopes that it will make the perfect Christmas gift, spreading a message of hope and kindness.
