A man will be sentenced by a crown court judge after admitting possessing a prohibited weapon in Powys and sending a threatening message.
Kian Burton, 20, entered guilty pleas to two charges when he appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Friday, November 1.

Burton, of Dalmore Caravan Park, Howey, near Llandrindod Wells admitted one charge of possessing a prohibited weapon between June 20 and June 30 this year.
The court heard the weapon was designed to discharge noxious gas.

Burton also admitted a charge of threatening communication, in relation to sending a message to the victim conveying serious harm would be caused; this offence also happened in June.
Judge Simon Mills told Burton he will return to court on December 13 to be sentenced. He also ordered a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
