ABERMULE Football Club has announced it has been successful in a grant application to help fund the development of a new multi use sports area (MUGA).
The club and village community centre confirmed the application to the Cymru Football Foundation’s Fit For Future Facilities Programme had been successful and £91,660 would be granted to support the development of a new facility to replace the current all weather sports area.
Through funding from the foundation and support from the UK Government, the project will involve replacing the current facility with a new 2G carpet and replacing the fencing while new line markings will mean tennis, netball and football will ensure multi sports use.
