Llandrindod Wells has put up special decorations to commemorate the upcoming Remembrance Day.
The town council has teamed up with the local branch of the Royal British Legion to put up their traditional poppy decorations around the town centre.
The decorations, which have been put up for several years on local road signs, will mark the route for the upcoming Remembrance Day parade from the Royal British Legion to Five Ways.
A spokesperson for the town council said: “Llandrindod Wells Town Council last weekend, continued with its annual tradition of displaying Poppies on lamp posts within the town, particularly marking the route for the Remembrance Day Parade from the Royal British Legion to Five Ways.

“The Town Council have displayed poppies for several years as a mark of respect to those who fought in conflict and those who sadly lost their lives.
“This year members of the Town Council were joined by members of the Llandrindod Wells Royal British Legion Branch and Club to erect the display.
“Residents really appreciate the display and always comment on how important it is to remember those who served and continue to serve.”
