A stretch of road near a level crossing in Powys was closed earlier by police so they could recover a lorry that blocked the road.
On Tuesday, October 29 at around 3pm, Dyfed-Powys Police announced that they had closed a stretch of the A470 in Caersws to the level crossing.
Police said the road was closed while a lorry that had blocked one lane was being recovered.
Drivers were told to avoid the area and find alternative routes for their journeys.
After a couple of hours, the road re-opened at 4.25pm.
A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police said: “Police were called just after 2.35pm to a report that a lorry had partially left the A470 near Caersws and was blocking one lane of the carriageway.
"The road was closed at about 3.05pm between Caersws and the level crossing while the vehicle was recovered.
"The road reopened at 4.25pm.”
