Village school buildings near Newtown have hit the market with a price tag of £750,000 before relocating to Shropshire next year.
Ridgeway School in Sarn is up for sale after planning permission was granted to move onto the site of a former golf course near Oswestry.
The school was established in response to parents’ requests to provide education for children of Exclusive Brethren families from Powys and Shropshire. Pupils and staff moved into the former 145-year-old Sarn CofE Primary School after its closure in 2006.
The school has a variety of two and single storey buildings, two external playground areas, car parking and storage area on a one-acre site.

James Evans, head of Halls Commercial, said: “An internal inspection is essential to appreciate the full potential of the property which lends itself to a variety of educational, commercial, residential, medical or religious uses, subject to planning consents.
“Due to the relocation of the existing occupier, the property will be available for occupation midway through 2025.”
Halls Commercial said the property, which has a gross internal floor area of around 9,973 square feet, is in 'excellent condition', having been fully refurbished in the last 12 months.
There are two building complexes, the first having two floors of secondary school classrooms, welfare facilities, a reception, multiple modern offices and communal co-working spaces.

The second complex comprises a single storey building with primary school rooms, a commercial kitchen, associated rooms and welfare facilities, together with the Old School House, which provides ancillary accommodation arranged over two floors.
The Cambrian Education Trust, a group of parents, was granted planning permission by Shropshire Council during the summer to change the use of Henlle Park Golf Club in Gobowen just outside Oswestry into an independent school.
The Trust explained that the school in Sarn is too small for purpose and needed to increase its capacity because the current buildings are "poorly insulated and difficult to maintain”.

A planning application said: “Circulation and access between buildings is poor, the site has very limited parking and is not on any public transport routes. The site is now at absolute capacity.
“Any field based recreational activity takes place on the publicly owned village playing field or tennis courts. These facilities are public and therefore create a safeguarding issue (students have to share the field with anyone else who chooses to use it that day).”
The move to Shropshire would allow the school to increase the capacity from 18 primary pupils to potentially around 25 and their secondary students from 38 to around 50.
