A paranormal investigation programme featured on Amazon Prime will be visiting a Powys landmark later this autumn as part of an event inside one of the area's oldest buildings.

The Haunted Hunts will be visiting Llanfyllin Workhouse for a sold out paranormal event which the team has been running in areas across the UK since 2015.

Ticket holders will get the chance to see the TV investigators inside the Grade II-listed building on the outskirts of the town on November 9.

“Our paranormal events are designed to offer paranormal enthusiasts as well as fans of the show, the opportunity to work alongside the team and learn about the reality of paranormal investigation," explained The Haunted Hunts.

“Our events are aimed to educate those who wish to learn about paranormal investigation inside some of our favourite locations.

The event at Llanfyllin Workhouse will run for five hours, taking the team and attendees late into the night, starting at 9pm and running until 2pm.

The visit won’t be the first time a paranormal show has visited the historic building, as the TV show Most Haunted also spent three episodes at the Llanfyllin site in 2018.

Llanfyllin Workhouse has also offered visitors a glimpse into the past of the site, presenting a dramatized documentary film, ‘Ghosts of the Workhouse’ for visitors to “meet the ghosts of men, women and children who lived or worked here”.
