A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after they were injured in a crash on a main road in Powys.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that a rider was rushed to hospital by helicopter following a collision near Llanidloes last week (Wednesday, October 23).
Officers closed the road just outside Llangurig for several hours to allow emergency services to attend to the rider.

The incident was one of two major crashes on the A470 that day, with a three-vehicle collision involving five people which led to one person being taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police attended a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the A470 near Llangurig at about 2pm, Wednesday, October 23.

“The male rider of a blue Yamaha motorcycle was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
“The road was closed and reopened at about 4.20pm.”
The condition of the rider remains unclear.
