POLICE are reportedly investigating a ‘serious incident’ overnight at a Welshpool nightclub.
According to local reports, Dyfed-Powys Police have cordoned off an area close to Molto nightclub in Berriew Street after reports of an incident.
One person out for the evening, who did not wish to be named, said they were taken aback by the sight of dried blood on the pavements.
They said: "It was horrific driving past just seeing dry blood on the pavements."
Dyfed-Powys Police have been contacted for comment.
A spokesman for Wales Air Ambulance said one of its craft from Cardiff was sent to the scene.
He said: "I can confirm that our Cardiff-based overnight crew attended the Welshpool area in the early hours of Sunday morning (October 27).
"Unfortunately, we are unable to give any further details at this time."
