A recruitment event aims to inspire people to join the emergency services and armed forces.
The 'At Your Service' event will take place at Newtown Fire Station, in Mid Wales, on Wednesday, November 6, from 2pm until 7pm.
Mid Wales residents will have the chance to explore a variety of career opportunities, with representatives from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, the Royal Navy, the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust, Dyfed Powys Police, and the Armed Forces present to offer guidance and answer questions.
The event is a 'fantastic opportunity' for residents, whether they be school leavers, career changers, and those seeking new challenges.
Head of Northern Division at Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Stephen Rowlands, said: "We are always on the lookout for talented and motivated individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in their communities.
"Whether you’re an experienced professional or just starting your career, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service offers a wide range of opportunities across various departments—from frontline roles as operational firefighters to essential support positions such as mechanics, IT specialists, finance officers, and more.
"We value diversity, innovation, and a strong drive to succeed, and we’re committed to supporting your professional growth.
"Holding this event alongside our partner agencies is a fantastic opportunity to showcase what we all do and how we work together to serve the community.
"We look forward to welcoming you and sharing how you can become part of our team."
