A pensioner has been found guilty of harassing a man by using threatening or insulting words.
Dee Munroe, 68, was given a conditional discharge for a 12-month period after being convicted following a trial at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 14.
She had denied using threatening behaviour towards David Gareth Evans near her home on August 22, 2023, having claimed it was "reasonable conduct in the circumstances".

Munroe, of Dol y Bont, Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochant, was ordered to pay £650 in court costs and a £26 victim surcharge.
She was not ordered to pay compensation to Mr Evans because the magistrates felt it would "exacerbate tensions between parties".

Magistrates also dismissed an application for a restraining order on the grounds that it would be "unworkable".
They also believed it was "not necessary and proportionate" to protect Mr Evans from any harassment from Munroe.
"This is a one-off incident and is unlikely to be repeated," magistrates said.
