A man has pleaded not guilty to walking an XL Bully dog without a muzzle in two popular Newtown parks.
Carl Ashley Fraser, 30, appeared at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 15, where he denied three charges relating to a dog, named in court papers as Bronson, in Dolerw Park and The Park.
The defendant, of Heol y Coleg, Newtown, pleaded not guilty to allowing a fighting dog to be in a public place without a muzzle, and two counts of possessing or having custody of a fighting dog on April 20.
A trial was fixed for Monday, January 6, at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court.
