A BUILTH Wells man accused of assaulting two pub bouncers has denied the offences, and will face trial next year.
Carl Morgan, 55, is accused of assaulting Liam Robinson and Byron Jones, door staff at Builth’s White Hart pub, on February 10 this year.
Morgan, of no fixed abode, appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Friday, October 11, where he entered not guilty pleas to two offences.
He denies common assault in relation to Mr Robinson. In relation to Mr Jones, Morgan denies assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Judge Daniel Williams told Morgan he will face trial next year. An estimated three-day trial will begin on April 16, 2025. Morgan was granted unconditional bail until that date.
