Welshpool Rotary received a presentation about Marie Curie's support for terminally ill patients.

The talk, given by Marie Curie volunteer Barbara Norbury, outlined the organisation's "end of life" care at home for terminally ill patients.

Marie Curie, the UK's leading "end of life" charity, offers support to anyone with a terminal illness, as well as their families.

The organisation provides care at home, in hospices, and over the phone, drawing on 75 years of experience and research.

Marie Curie, a Nobel Prize winner in 1903, is also known for her work on radioactivity, the discovery of radium and polonium, and her significant contributions to cancer treatment.

The charity continues to embody Marie Curie's legacy by striving for fundamental changes in "end of life" care, ensuring everyone can enjoy the best possible quality of life until the end.
