People all over the county saw a strange red and green haze in the sky as the Northern Lights appeared yesterday (Thursday) evening.

Camera club members and members of the public headed outdoors to capture the cosmic ballet which is caused by charged particles ejected from the Sun hitting Earth's magnetic field.
