THE Grinch, Dirty Santa, Naughty Pig and Rocking Rudolph. Just some of the specials you can order as part of a Powys pub’s mouthwatering Christmas menu, which has just dropped.

The White Horse in Builth Wells has just released its festive menu this week. It’s proved to be popular in recent years and looks a cracker of a menu once again for 2024.

There are 11 weeks still to go until Santa Claus starts delivering this year, but the popular High Street eatery will be delivering the Dirty Santa burger and other festive treats from December 2, when the menu will be available.

The Dirty Santa burger consists of two smashed beef patties, as well as pulled turkey, bacon, stuffing, brie and cranberry, and has proved to be a hit since the pub introduced a festive menu a few years ago.

Another favourite is The Grinch burger – which comes with a pig in blanket atop a green, toasted bun, bacon jam, beef dripping gravy and waffle fries.

New to the menu this Christmas will be a Festive Pasty, filled with chicken, stuffing, smoked gammon and cranberry sauce.

Other burgers will be available, in addition to the Holly Jolly Dog – a massive pig in blanket – festive-themed loaded fries and pizzas; there’ll even be Christmas Yorkshire pudding wrap.

“Bookings are now available, dates will go fast,” said the pub in a Facebook post.

“To avoid any disappointment book now to guarantee your space here.”

A private room/bar is available for larger groups, if you want to book your Christmas do there,

Food is served Monday to Saturday 12pm-9pm, with roast dinner and the classic menu available Sundays too.
