Police have confirmed a man has died after a crash in Powys.
Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed one man had passed away after his vehicle crashed on the A483 on Tuesday (October 9).
The crash on the road between Fron and Llanbister caused disruption in the area near Llandrindod Wells for over five hours.
Initially the road was still partially open after the crash however police quickly fully closed the road in both directions to allow emergency services to attend the incident.

According to Dyfed-Powys Police the crash only involved one vehicle and when they attended the incident with other emergency teams, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed-Powys received a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision, at approx. 3.40pm on the A483, between Fron and Llanbister.
“Sadly, the male driver passed away at scene. His next of kin have been informed.
“The road remained closed whilst emergency services were at scene and re-opened by 8.30pm.”
