A new dental business could be coming to Powys after an application was made to the council.

In a planning application to Powys County Council DentureKraft, who specialise in dentures and prosthetics, have revealed plans to open a new premises in Rhayader.

The application is to open a new premises “to manufacture and supply dental devices to dentist locally and throughout the country. Eg Dentures, orthodontic and gumsheilds bite guards and bleaching trays.”

The new shop would be in the vacant spot in Clarence House on North Street, next to the Crown Inn.

In their application the company has said the potential move has been welcomed by nearby premises adding that the “neighbourhood seems excited to have shop occupied as opposed to another empty shop front.”
