One person needed medical attention after a car and a lorry crashed in Powys.
Fire crews from Powys and Shropshire were called out with other emergency services after a crash in Crew Green this morning (October 4).
According to Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue they were called to the scene near Bryn Mawr after reports that a lorry and a car crashed.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue report that they were called to assist after initial reports seemed to indicate that one of the occupants was trapped in their vehicles.

When emergency services reached the scene they found that the occupants of the vehicles had escaped but that one of the people in the vehicles was injured and received care from ambulance crews.
The crash also caused a oil spill on the road which had to be cleaded up by the Welsh crews.

A spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 8.49am on Friday, October 4th, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crew from Welshpool Fire Station, along with a crew from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, was called to an incident in Bryn Mawr, Shrewsbury.
“Crews responded to a road traffic collision involving one heavy goods vehicle and one private motor vehicle.
“The occupants from both vehicles self-extricated from the vehicles and one casualty received treatment by Ambulance Service personnel.
“Crews made the vehicles and scene safe, and dealt with a spillage of engine oil using an environmental pack. Crews left the scene at 9.31am.”
