A small earthquake hit a Powys town last week, scientists have confirmed.
Data from the British Geological Survey shows that Presteigne experienced a tremor with a magnitude of 1.4 on Thursday (September 26).
The incident happened at 9.08pm, and occurred at a depth of three kilometres.
It centred on Caen Wood, just to the south of the Powys border town, the BGS maps show.
Tremors measuring between one and 1.9 on the Richter Scale are generally too small to be felt, however, suggesting that the people of Presteigne were able to enjoy Gemma Collins on Who Do You Think You Are in peace.
The most recent earthquake above that level in Wales was in Gwent on September 9, which had a magnitude of 2.1 but was 24km below the earth's surface.
