A Builth Wells man is set to tackle a challenging ultra-trail race.
Dan Hilliard, of The Greyhound Hotel, is preparing for the Trailhead Get Jerky Devil's Staircase Ultra Trail Race on Saturday, October 5.
The 31.5-mile course features steep ascents and descents, totalling 5,200ft, including the iconic Devil's Staircase near Llanwrtyd Wells.

Mr Hilliard is running to fundraise for Wales Air Ambulance, a cause close to his heart.
He is hoping to encourage other sponsors to support him during his event.
Builth Wells Rotary Club has recognised Mr Hilliard's determination, donating £100 to support his fundraising efforts.
