A POWYS man who denies drink driving will face a trial in November.
Matthew Watkin, 41, denied the offence when it was out to him at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 17.
Watkin, of Wern Cottage, Sarn, near Newtown, is accused of driving a white Ford Transit while over the drink drive limit between Llangrannog and New Quay, in Ceredigion, on September 2.
It is alleged he provided a reading of 77 micrograms of alcohol in breath – the legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Watkin will face trial on the matter on November 14, in Aberystwyth.
