A MAN will face trial later this year after he denied assaulting a woman as well as interfering with a motor vehicle while she was driving it.
Lee Evans, 49, appeared in custody at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 17, where he entered not guilty pleas to the two charges faced.
Evans denied one offence of interfering with a BMW 2 series on the A489 at Lydham, near Bishop's Castle.
He also denied assaulting a woman in Berriew. Both offences are alleged to have occurred on September 15.
Evans, of Cefn y Meirch, Rhosygwalia, near Bala, will face trial at Welshpool on October 30.
Magistrates granted him bail, with conditions. He must not enter Powys, except for court or solicitor appointments.
