Rescue teams were called out after a person was injured in Bannau Brycheiniog, formerly known as the Brecon Beacons.
The Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out to the Craig Cerrig-gleisiad in the Fan Fawr nature reserve in the national park last week (September 11).
The team were called out to the Powys beauty spot after report that person had injured their leg whilst descending from the mountain.
The rescue team along with the team doctor and casualty carer reached the casualty and decided that they needed to be airlifted to safety.

After this a Maritime and Coastguard helicopter was called in to transport the person to hospital.
A spokesperson for Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: “The team were called late afternoon by Dyfed-Powys Police to a casualty who had sustained an upper leg injury whilst descending Craig Cerrig-Gleisiad.
“The team mobilised quickly to the casualty who was treated by the team doctor and casualty carers.
“The casualty was then transported off the hill by Maritime and Coastguard Agency Rescue 187 to hospital. We wish the casualty a quick recovery.”
