My message to the commission....
For what it is worth, if you are actually listening to the public and not the self serving Senedd.
I live near Llandrindod Wells and against these proposed changes to constituency sizes and the extra MSs.
Lowest voter turn out - If you wanted to disincentivise the voter any further, you are certainly well on track with these proposals. Explain exactly what aspect of these proposals will encourage improved voter turnout and political engagement between the Senedd and voters.

My constituency is far too big - by including highly populated urban areas Neath and Swansea, it will dilute the rural vote by voters living in rural areas, have rural specific issues and vote accordingly.
It appears that you have dreamt up these larger constituencies so you can then suggest each constituency will ‘need’ 6 MS’s - cutting the direct link between the public and their elected representative - diluting any accountability to the voter.
Not to mention that we will now vote for a party and not the individual - open to Ms’s being the best person for the party and not the best candidate for the voter.
If you wish to burden the tax payer with these extra MS’s, shrink all the constituencies so each constituency is represented by one MS. An MS that is named, not from a ‘party list’.
