A warning has been issued after road signs were stolen on the Powys border.
Shropshire Council has put out a warning after road signs were stolen from multiple roads in the county including near Bishop’s Castle.
In a statement online a spokesperson for Shropshire Council said: “A number of road signs appear to have been stolen from highway verges across the county – including chevron signs which warn motorists of potential hazards.

Shropshire Council revealed a list of where the signs have been stolen from including on the B4383 close to Lydham near the Powys border.
They added: “At the moment we’re aware of signs being taken at the following locations: B5476 Wem to Shrewsbury Road, B4383 Lydham, the A5112 Sutton Road roundabout, the A458 Old Potts Way roundabout and the B5061 Norton to Atcham.”
Shropshire Council has asked drivers who may notice other missing signs to get in touch.
“There may be missing signs in other locations that we're not aware of," the local authority said. "So please be careful, and let us know if you’re aware of any other missing signs.”
