An overnight road closure on a Powys border road is expected to affect traffic in the area for the next few weeks.
A stretch of the A487 between Corris Uchaf and Talyllyn, close to the Powys border with Gwynedd, will be closed during weeknights for the rest of September while resurfacing works are carried out.
The road will be closed in both directions between 9pm and 7am on weeknights, starting on Monday, September 9, and ending on Saturday, October 5.

The closure will be in place from the junction with B4405 to the Tŷ'n Y Berth Mountain Centre, but Traffic Wales have added that the closure will only be in place during weeknights, leaving it fully open during weekends.
Essential resurfacing works will be carried out on the road during the closures, meaning the road must be closed in both directions to do the work safely as the carriageway is too narrow to open it in one direction at a time.
A diversion has been mapped out in preparation for the closure, taking drivers from the Minffordd Hotel in Tywyn to Ty'n-y-berth, near Machynlleth, via the A487 to avoid the closed stretch of road.
