Powys trains were delayed after trespassers got on to the track near Welshpool.
Transport for Wales services on the Cambrian line were delayed this afternoon (September 6) after there were trespassers on the track.
The service confirmed a trespasser had to be removed from the track between Welshpool and Shrewsbury, delaying services.
A spokesperson for Transport for Wales said: “Some trains were run at reduced speed because of a trespasser on the tracks between Shrewsbury and Welshpool.
“The line was clear and normal working had resumed by 4pm.”
