A Mid Wales couple celebrated their sapphire anniversary with a grand cruise of France, Northern Spain and Portugal.
Peter and Elaine Webber, of Berriew, near Welshpool, marked their 65 years of marriage with champagne breakfast and dinner at the captain’s table on the cruise ship.
The couple tied the knot at St Albans Church, Harrow on August 22, 1959, and are proud parents to Paul and Philip, and grandparents to four.
Mr Webber, the founder of cancer diagnostics company CellPath, shared the secret to their lasting love.
He said: "We are both tolerant people and we have worked hard over the years.
"I was immersed in my businesses and Elaine was busy looking after the family."
The cruise was their 18th, and they both love cruising.

They also enjoyed a Florida holiday home for a number of years.
The Webbers faced a scare last November when The Spirit of Discovery cruise ship they were aboard was hammered by a severe storm in the Bay of Biscay, injuring 100 passengers.
Recalling the ordeal, Mr Webber said: "I learned at school about the terror of the Bay of Biscay but I never thought I would live to experience it!"
Saga Cruises fully refunded that cruise.
