A man was arrested in a daytime raid in Welshpool after a large-scale cannabis farm was discovered in the town centre.

Witnesses in the town saw a door being knocked down after another cannabis farm - one of several this year - was discovered in the town centre by police.

Members of the public also said officers then chased down a suspect before they were then arrested and taken into custody.

Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed this was the latest farm to be discovered in Welshpool, which is thought to be the fourth this year, one of which included the former County Times offices in the town centre.
