On the famous faces surprise visit, Mr Clarke said: “I recognised her pretty much straight away, with her being in something as big as ‘Star Wars’, but didn’t want to embarrass myself by assuming and being wrong, so I asked if  she had been in anything.

“She offered it up herself, saying that she’d been in a few things I might recognise her from and then mentioned ‘Star Wars’ at the end, but she was very friendly about it.

“They were both very pleasant to talk to and were happy to have a quick chat. They also had the shop to themselves as it’s been a fairly slow week.

“Some nearby roadworks have affected the amount of traffic coming through here so it’s been a little quiet the past few days. I think if the shop was full I wouldn’t have said anything and risked causing a fuss for them, but as it was quiet I decided to mention it.

“I didn’t want to pester them for photos but again they were nice enough just to chat. It made for a lovely surprise to end the week.”
