Newtown Hospital League of Friends could disband unless new volunteers join.
The group was formed in 1975 and hopes to celebrate its 50 years anniversary next year.
A spokesperson said: “Unfortunately our current Chairman has resigned and we have been unable to find new members or a new Chairman.
“Unless there are new volunteers joining the Newtown Hospital League of Friends will have to be disbanded.
