Police are appealing for information about a Powys crash that left a man in critical condition.
Dyfed-Powys Police have said that one man is in custody in relation to crash on the A470 in the early hours of Tuesday morning (August 6).
The crash which left the road closed for several hours required a man to be airlifted to hospital where police say he is still in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle is currently being held in custody by Dyfed-Powys Police “on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed limit and causing serious injury by dangerous driving”.

Officers have said they are looking for help in their investigations including anyone who may have been travelling on the road at the time.
A Police spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses who may have information about a single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on the A470 Rhayader to Llangurig stretch approximately one mile north of Rhayader at around 1.30am on Tuesday 6 August.
“The collision involved a green Volvo estate.
“One adult male was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a critical condition.
“One man, age 23 has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed limit and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
“Investigating officers would particularly like to speak to any motorists who may have been travelling along the A470 Rhayader to Llangurig at that time who have dash cam in their vehicles.”
