A photography competition is being held in Llanidloes to protest over a potential wind farm at Glaslyn Nature Reserve.
The competition will see entrants enter their best photograph of the nature reserve where there are controversial plans by Bute Energy to build a new wind farm.
Organisers have said the winner will be awarded a “great prize” and that the best works will “be exhibited in Wild Oak Cafe in Llanidloes”.

There is a £5 entry fee and “all photos submitted must be of the Glaslyn & Hafren area in Powys and have been taken by you”.
Organisers have said “photos may be taken with any type of equipment and submitted in any digital format.”
The plans to build at the site have been met with dismay in the local area with objections from Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust and a 80 person protest hike last month.
Bute Energy said it had chosen the site to build the Esgair Galed Energy Park near Llyn Clywedog because of its “technical and environmental suitability, optimal wind speeds and there are established wind developments in the area”.
They have also said the project will deliver significant benefits to the local community, including an annual Community Benefit Fund worth around £1.2 million “based on current designs.”
