A road out of a Powys town will be closed for two days later this month while works are carried out on defective poles.
Powys County Council has announced that a stretch of the B4385 by Llanfair Caereinion will be temporarily closed on August 12 and August 13.
The closure will be in place between the hours of 7am and 6pm while the works are carried out, with no vehicles allowed to use to road while works are taking place.

The closure is on behalf of MJ Quinn/Openreach, while they do works to replace three defective poles in the verge of the road.

Powys Council have added that access for residents and emergency services will be maintained, while an alternative route will be signposted.
