A Powys rider who was thrown from their horse was airlifted to hospital.
Search and rescue teams were called out to Llanbrynmair yesterday (August 5) after reports that a rider may have suffered injuries after coming off their horse.
Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team along with the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called to the scene along with two ambulance crews.

The rescue teams helped the ambulance crews get the rider from the where they fell and onto a coastguard helicopter who airlifted them to hospital.
A spokesperson for Aberdyfi Search and Rescue said: “On Monday evening, we received a request to assist our neighbouring team Brecon Mountain Rescue Team with a callout to an injured horse rider near Llanbrynmair.
“With two ambulances in attendance, but difficult terrain to cover, team members helped transfer the casualty to the Coastguard helicopter which then flew them to the ambulance site.”
In a post on social media the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: "The team was called out at 1905hrs last night to attend to an incident of a fallen horse rider near Llanbrynmair, North Powys.
"Due to the nature of potential serious injuries, we contacted our colleagues from Aberdyfi Search & Rescue Team, who responded swiftly to get to the incident site.
"The Maritime Coastguard rescue helicopter 936 also responded to assist with the evacuation.
"The casualty was winched onto rescue 936 helicopter and then handed over to an awaiting Welsh Ambulance Service Trust ambulance for final transportation to hospital.
"This incident displayed some excellent joint working amongst the 3 agencies involved.
"We extend our best wishes to the casualty for a full and speedy recovery."
The condition of the rider is unclear at this time.
