AN arrest warrant has been issued again for a Powys man who is charged with stealing hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol, as well as a joint of lamb, from a supermarket.
Edward Gray-Davies, 38, faces three theft charges and one more of failing to surrender to bail.
He was due to appear at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 6, but he did not show.
Gray-Davies, of Tregarth, Machynlleth, is alleged to have stolen three bottles of whiskey worth £134 belonging to Tesco in Newtown on April 6.
He is said to have then stolen a joint of lamb and five bottles of different vodka, valued at £177, from the same Tesco, on April 16.
Then, on April 17, he is charged with stealing two bottles of whiskey and a bottle of vodka, worth £103, again from Tesco in Newtown.

Gray-Davies is also charged with failing to surrender to custody at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on May 7.
On that occasion he did attend court, but left before his case was called on – leading to the bench issuing an arrest warrant.
Magistrates issued another warrant for his arrest, again not backed for bail.
