A WELSHPOOL man has had a warrant for his arrest issued after he failed to turn up to court to answer a drug driving charge.
Dominic Grant, 25, is accused of driving with cocaine in his system on February 3 this year.
He had been due to appear at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 6, but failed to attend.
Grant, of Castle Walk, Welshpool, is alleged to have been driving a Mercedes C Class on the A483 near Llansantffraid with 240 micrograms of benzoylecgonine – a compound of cocaine – in his blood. The legal limit is 50 micrograms.
Magistrates issued a warrant, with no bail.
