ASSAULTING an emergency worker at Powys/Shropshire border village has landed one Newtown man a two-week prison sentence.
Ricki Kirkham, 39 and of Treowen in Newtown, was expected to stand trial for four offences at Shrewsbury – assaulting an emergency worker, two counts of assault by beating and threatening a person with a blade or weapon.
