A POWYS woman faces a trial next year over alleged threatening texts she sent her ex-partner.
Georgina Ganley, 35, appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Friday, August 2, where she entered a not guilty plea to sending an electronic communication with intent to cause distress or anxiety.
It is alleged Ganley, of Cwrt Tarrell, Brecon, sent texts between December 31, 2021, and August 29, 2022, containing threats, with the purpose to cause stress or anxiety to the complainant.
Ganley’s case was adjourned for a trial to take place. This will start on January 22, 2025, and is expected to last for two days.
She was granted unconditional bail until that date.
