The Red Arrows have revealed where they can be seen in Powys next week.

There will be two chances to spot the famous aerobatics display team in Powys next week, as the team fly over the county twice in two days.

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, are "one of the world's premier aerobatic display teams" and have been displaying since 1965.

The team often fly “with their trademark Diamond Nine shape” and are known for their “combination of close formations and precision flying".

The RAF have said the team represent “the speed, agility and precision of the Royal Air Force, the team is the public face of the service.

“They assist in recruiting to the Armed Forces, act as ambassadors for the United Kingdom at home and overseas and promote the best of British.

“Flying distinctive Hawk fast-jets, the team is made up of pilots, engineers and essential support staff with frontline, operational experience. Together, they demonstrate the excellence and capabilities of the Royal Air Force and the Service’s skilled, talented people.”

The first flypast will be on Thursday August 8. During this they will be spotted at two points in Powys, first at 5.51pm North East of Lllanwyddyn and the Raf have given the co-ordinates of 52 47 28N 003 29 32W.

Not longer after, they can be spotted at 5.54pm, South East of Caersws. For this spot the Red Arrows team have given the co-ordinates of 52 30 43N 003 24 29W.

They will then be flying over the county again on Friday August 9. You will be able to see them at 5.11pm, North of Tregynon. The Red Arrows have given the co-ordinates of 52 36 02N 003 20 36W.
