Year 10 students were given a two-week immersive work experience programme at a major Welshpool business.
Morland specialises in the leisure, marine, and construction sectors, and welcomed eight year 10 pupils to provide insights into various aspects of the business.
It gave them a unique opportunity to delve into various potential career paths and understand more about the inner workings of a successful company.
As well as factory tours to give them a deeper understanding of the manufacturing and operational aspects of the business., the programme involved students taking part in different activities and presentations across various parts of the Buttington Cross Business Park-based business.
Departments like marketing, finance, human resources, and research and development presented interactive presentations and activities that highlighted their roles within the business.
Rachel Jones, HR manager at Morland said: "Hosting these talented young individuals was a rewarding experience for both the students and our team.
"We believe in nurturing the next generation of professionals by providing them with practical experience and insights into the real-world business environment.

"Our goal is to inspire them and help them make informed decisions about their future careers."
By the end of the programme, the students had developed a broader understanding of the business landscape and a newfound appreciation for how a company operates.
The programme helped them identify their areas of interest and equipped them with knowledge and skills that will benefit them in future academic and professional careers.
