PEOPLE attending last week’s Royal Welsh Show “absolutely loved” it when former glamour model Katie Price made an appearance.

The former Page 3 model turned reality TV personality was part of the glitzy line-up at the White Horse during the four-day event, with the 46-year-old making a guest appearance on Wednesday evening, July 24, one of the show’s busiest nights.

Price, 46, also brought daughter Princess to Builth, as well as her boyfriend JJ Slater, who has appeared on reality show Married At First Sight.

“She was amazing, the crowd loved her and she really enjoyed it here and wants to come back next year,” said Rory Owen, landlord of the White Horse.

“She also brought her daughter Princess and Princess’ boyfriend and also she brought her partner JJ Slater from Married At First Sight.”

Rory added: “I’ve never seen a crowd reaction like I; they all absolutely loved her and it couldn’t have gone down any better. She may be back next year.”

The pub has garnered a reputation of being the place to be for a bit of celeb spotting during show week in town among younger revellers in recent years – last year the main guest was Joey Essex.

Price this year was the headline name, while Wil and Uma, who recently left the current series of Love Island, were also part of the bill at the White Horse, along with Love Island All Stars favourite Callum and duo Josh and Casey.

Ibiza Rocks DJ Jay Thomas and Walkabout resident DJ James Bramhall were spinning tunes at the pub throughout the week, as well as Danny T.

Resident DJ Ian Davies has been with the pub since the start of Rory’s tenure 10 years ago, with Jordan Valleys and Blighty also in attendance this year.

“All the (celebrity guests) went down fantastic last week and they all enjoyed themselves at the White Horse,” added Rory.

“The week was brilliant and we can’t wait to do it all again next year for an even bigger and better Royal Welsh 2025.

“We look forward to seeing everyone for the Winter Fair where we will be in the marquee again at the rear of the pub.”
